| I've had a couple of people send me their ECUs and NISTune boards after botched jobs that were preformed by TXQ45. I felt the work on one ECU was so bad I informed Matt at NISTune about the situation and Matt had me send him pictures of the work. Also, the NISTune board image was not compatible in that ECU as well as an unneccessary electrical modification in an attempt to get the tune to work. In some of the Z31 ECUs the mod is needed but not in this one. At the time, I had nothing to work with for a base image that was needed for this particular Z31 ECU model. Matt helped me out by providing a base image I needed to get the NISTune board programmed. Eveything was a problem because TXQ45 did not return the original eprom to the owner of the ECU. He also claimed he no longer knew where the eprom was and did not make a bin file from it when I had the owner of the ECU contact him to try to get it back. The owner almost had to buy another ECU but luckily I was able to reverse the modification that was done by using a like ECU to compare with and program the NISTune board correctly after obtaining the proper image from Matt. And on another note, for a while TXQ45 would always boast about being the only qualified NISTune installer in the USA when clearly my name and info is right under his on NISTune's website. I told Matt about this and he had TXQ45 reframe from advertising that way but then he started rewording his ads to say he was the only authorized USA installer AND seller of the NISTune boards since I didn't sell the boards. I always suggest to everyone emailing me about NISTune boards that they only deal with Matt at NISTune as a place to buy the boards. I also tell them (without directly incriminating TXQ45) to beware of certain sellers in the classifieds as a place to buy them.
